Geoff and his wife, Chelsea, were married in 2006 and they have two children, August (boy) and Georgie (girl). Geoff has his B.M. from California Baptist University (2014), Major in Theory and Composition, and a M.A. in Theology from Talbot Theological Seminary (2019).
Geoff has been leading congregational singing for over 12 years and has been involved in music from a young age. As his love for the church grew, so did his love for serving and strengthening the body by crafting services for the local church’s season and context.
A quality of his ministry has been congregational singing that is honest and emotionally healthy worship. He desires for the church to sing God’s glory joyfully, confess need for Christ ardently, and sing the gospel thankfully. Another area of interest to Geoff has been crafting worship that is theologically deep and meaningful. He believes that what we sing together over time forms our corporate identity, and thus we ought to be intentional to sing truth about God, to God, and to each other.
Geoff and Chelsea really enjoy the outdoors; they've been canoeing ever since they were married and it is one of their favorite things. Camping and hiking as well. They also enjoy music, obviously. and spend a lot of my time writing and producing. They also enjoy good coffee, good food, and LOVE going to the movies. They also both read a lot.
