things you should know
No new reservations from non-ministry CHBC groups are reserved during our busy season (from August – October 15).
Other than weddings, all events must take place within CHBC building hours:
- Monday 9 am – 9 pm,
- Tuesday thru Thursday, 9 am – 9 pm;
- Friday 9 am – 2:30 pm and 6:45 – 10 pm;
- Saturday 9 am – 12 pm.
This includes set-up and clean-up time. These hours are dependent on our own building use. If we are going to be closed, or are closing early, then we will not schedule your event.
Summer Hours: Our summer schedule is the same as the rest of the year. However, we reserve the right to close or lock the building depending on building use.
Due to our Ministry Planning schedule and the construction of our new building, we may not be able to accomodate the 9 month window for reserving wedding space.
Also, please be aware that it is possible that some construction noise may be audible during your use of the auditorium. We will work with our contractor, but cannot guarantee silence.
NOTE: What you see is not necessarily every event that is planned or that has been scheduled. It will give you some idea, but it is not comprehensive.

Fees Due & Cancellations
Unless you are requesting space for a Bible Church ministry event (Easter Festival, Youth Retreat, Deacon meeting, etc.) rooms cannot be requested more than 90 days in advance. If you submit a request prior to the 90 days, it will be returned to you. The only exceptions are weddings, which we will book 9 months in advance, and concerts or other large-scale events, which we will negotiate with you an appropriate timeframe.
Please give first and second choice of days of the week and dates if possible – our building is increasingly busy and many requests cannot be accommodated on their first choice date.
If you are planning an event in the Auditorium which will require A/V or stage support we must have at least 3 weeks notice in order to be reasonably sure that we will have A/V staff available. If this is within that timeframe, please contact Sean Stickel to discuss your A/V and stage needs. We no longer allow recitals to be performed in the auditorium because we do not have a piano on stage.
