We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Bible Church a great one!
Sunday morning gatherings have both a reverent and warm family feel as our diverse community gathers to celebrate the Lord through music, communion, prayer, and hearing from His Word.
• Our services are designed to be 1 hour and 15 minutes.
• 30-40 minute Bible-based sermons.
• Contemporary style of worship that incorporates hymns and modern praise songs.
• Complimentary coffee between services (and it’s good!)
• Guest reception area where our guests (with children) can check-in for the first time and get friendly advice on where to go.
• Secured Kids Ministry with fun teaching from the Bible.
The message of truth, hope, and beauty is our boast. It is the proclamation of a crucified Savior, a risen King, and a returning Redeemer. Chapel Hill Bible Church desires to see the powerful gospel of Jesus Christ bring glory to God as it forever transforms us, our city, and the world. Please join us as the grace of Jesus Christ makes us deeply joyful, deeply grateful, and deeply changed.
Got a quick question? Looking for a way to plug in? Can’t find your way? The team in CONNECTIONS in the lobby seeks to provide answers, resources, and assistance. If they don’t know the answer to your question, they’ll find out!
I hope to see you this Sunday!

Come out and enjoy lunch with the Ministry Leadership Team at Chapel Hill Bible Church. Hear more about what our church is about, our different ministries, and how to get plugged into our church family. Lunch provided. Kids welcome!
Foundations is our membership pathway in which you will learn about our core beliefs, community philosophy, and missional heartbeat. We want to take the time to show you who we are and what we believe. We also want to get to know you and get you connected to everything the CHBC has to offer. Our hope is that this process will help you feel welcomed, as well as get a better sense for what it means to be a family member of CHBC.
We meet on Sundays in-person at 9 and 11 am and online at 11 am. Kids Ministry occurs at the same time. For teens, we also have our Youth Ministry Sunday programming.
Our Sunday morning services start at 9:00 and 11:00 and last about 1 hour and a 15 minutes. Every service includes music, a message from the Bible, prayer, and sharing information about church events and needs. Other elements happen on a more occasional basis, such as baptism, communion, and stories of transformation from our church family.
The worship services are grounded by the teaching of the Bible. This teaching can be best described as the exposition of a Biblical text in context, what is sometimes called "expository preaching." We want our services to be Christ-centered, emotionally inspiring, and intellectually challenging.
We're a diverse family from all walks of life, backgrounds, cultures, education and ethnicity. And, our musical style generally reflects that diversity. Thus, on a given Sunday, our musical styles incorporate a diverse offering of songs in a contemporary format. We love all styles and have fun creating a worship experience that engages all believers in praise of our Lord and Savior, Jesus.
5TH GRADE AND UNDER
Your children are more than welcome to stay with you in the worship service. But, if you would like for your child to attend our Kids Ministry programming, we have a lot to offer.
MIDDLE SCHOOL & HIGH SCHOOL
If you have tweens or teenagers, they are invited to attend the service with you. Otherwise, we’d invite your students to join us on Sunday mornings for Middle and High School youth group offered in the Youth Center at 9:00 am. Additionally, CHBC Youth meets Wednesday from 7-8:30 pm downstairs in the Youth Center.
Our worship services typically last for about 75-90 minutes. 30 minutes of singing and worship is followed by a 30-40 minute sermon.
Don’t be shy to linger a little longer after the service. That’s where community begins! And, don’t forget we have FREE COFFEE in-between services in the Lobby.
At Chapel Hill Bible Church, you’ll encounter all ranges of dress code. Some dress casually, while some dress more formally. The beauty of the gospel is that it is about Jesus, not about us.
Chapel Hill Bible Church is a non-denominational church - we’re independent and not affiliated with any official church denomination.
No matter what you’ve been through or what questions you might have about God and faith, our church is a place where you’ll find the love, grace, and forgiveness Jesus gives to everyone.
We have made sure that our building is accessible for people of all different abilities. We have ramps and elevators for wheelchairs, braille signs for the visually impaired, and adaptive classrooms for youth and adults with special needs.
In the Sanctuary, we also have hearing devices available for those hard of hearing, large print Bibles available upon request, and accessible seating for wheelchairs.
Absolutely! If for any reason you can’t make our in-person service, you can always tune in each Sunday at 11 am at biblechurch.live.
Meet Elizabeth! Elizabeth is our Connections Director and would love a chance to entertain your questions and help you get plugged in.
If you have any other questions or simply want to talk to a pastor, we’re on the other end of this line and are eager to chat with you.
